Responsibility
- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to standardized recipes and special dietary requirements.
- Assist the Head Chef in menu planning, cost control, and inventory management.
- Maintain impeccable kitchen hygiene and adhere to food safety regulations (HACCP standards).
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
- Monitor food presentation and ensure consistency in taste, portion sizes, and plating.
- Coordinate with the service team to ensure seamless kitchen-to-dining operations.
- Source and evaluate local ingredients to incorporate fresh, sustainable produce into dishes.
- Participate in daily pre-service briefings and post-service debriefs to refine processes.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a high-volume kitchen (fresh graduates with passion are encouraged to apply).
- Culinary diploma or certificate from a recognized institution (advantageous but not mandatory).
- Strong knowledge of international cuisines, with a focus on Asian or Western fine dining.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills in English (Bahasa Indonesia is a plus).
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 kg.
- Creative mindset with a passion for experimenting with flavors and techniques.
- Willingness to relocate to Bali (work visa sponsorship available for qualified candidates).
