Responsibility
- Warmly greet and welcome guests upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage reservations, walk-ins, and waiting lists efficiently using restaurant software or manual systems.
- Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table turnover and guest satisfaction.
- Provide accurate wait times and communicate delays professionally to guests.
- Assist with guest inquiries, special requests, and dietary accommodations.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting reception area.
- Handle phone calls and emails for reservations or general inquiries.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a host/hostess, front desk, or customer service role (hospitality industry preferred).
- Fluent in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Arabic) are a plus.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Basic computer literacy (e.g., reservation systems, POS software).
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
