Responsibility

  • Prepare and cook high-quality dishes following standardized recipes and presentation guidelines.
  • Manage kitchen operations, including inventory control, food storage, and hygiene compliance.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop seasonal menus and special promotions.
  • Ensure all meals are prepared and served on time, meeting guest expectations.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment in accordance with health and safety standards.
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to uphold quality and efficiency.
  • Monitor food costs and minimize waste while maintaining portion control.
  • Stay updated on culinary trends and incorporate innovative techniques into the menu.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Chef in a hotel, resort, or fine-dining restaurant (minimum 2 years preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of Balinese, Indonesian, or international cuisine.
  • Excellent knife skills, food preparation, and plating techniques.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.
  • Familiarity with HACCP, food safety, and sanitation standards.
  • Creative mindset with a passion for developing new recipes.
  • Strong leadership and teamwork skills.
  • Fluency in English or Indonesian is a plus.
