Responsibility
- Lead and oversee CADD design projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to industry standards and client specifications.
- Mentor and train junior CADD operators, providing guidance on best practices, software utilization, and design techniques.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, architects, and project managers, to develop accurate and detailed technical drawings.
- Review and validate CAD drawings for precision, compliance with regulations, and alignment with project requirements.
- Implement and maintain CAD standards, templates, and libraries to streamline workflows and enhance productivity.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in CAD software and tools, recommending upgrades or new technologies to improve efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex design issues, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality outputs.
- Participate in project meetings and provide technical insights to support decision-making processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CADD Operator, with a proven track record in leading design projects.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of engineering and architectural principles, with the ability to interpret complex designs.
- Excellent leadership and mentoring skills, with experience in training and developing junior team members.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality, accurate work.
