Responsibility
- Lead the development and review of detailed CAD drawings for structural and architectural projects.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure design accuracy and feasibility.
- Oversee the coordination of drawings with external stakeholders, including clients and contractors.
- Implement and maintain CAD standards, templates, and best practices to enhance efficiency.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior CAD technicians and engineers.
- Conduct quality checks on drawings to ensure compliance with industry regulations and project specifications.
- Utilize advanced CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks) to optimize design processes.
- Participate in project meetings to provide insights on design challenges and solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in CAD drafting and design, with a focus on structural and architectural projects.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or SolidWorks.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, building codes, and industry standards.
