Responsibility
- Develop and refine 2D technical drawings and 3D models using industry-standard CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit).
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to interpret design requirements and translate them into precise specifications.
- Conduct design validation and feasibility studies to ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and performance standards.
- Optimize existing designs for cost-efficiency, manufacturability, and sustainability without compromising quality.
- Prepare and present technical documentation, including bills of materials (BOM), assembly instructions, and engineering reports.
- Troubleshoot and resolve design discrepancies or conflicts during the prototyping and production phases.
- Stay updated with emerging CAD technologies, tools, and industry best practices to enhance workflow efficiency.
- Mentor junior designers and provide technical guidance to ensure consistency and accuracy across projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in CAD design, with a strong portfolio showcasing mechanical or structural projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor, or Fusion 360; experience with BIM (Revit) is advantageous.
- Deep understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) and international engineering standards (e.g., ISO, ASME).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience in manufacturing, construction, or industrial design is highly desirable.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia or Mandarin is a bonus.
