Responsibility
- Develop and execute seasonal buying and merchandising strategies to maximize sales and profitability.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and consumer behavior to inform purchasing decisions.
- Collaborate with design, production, and marketing teams to ensure cohesive product assortments.
- Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms.
- Monitor inventory levels and sales performance to optimize stock allocation and minimize overstock.
- Lead forecasting and demand planning to align supply with market demand.
- Present seasonal collections and business strategies to senior leadership.
- Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of innovation and accountability.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in buying, planning, or merchandising within fast fashion.
- Proven track record of driving sales growth through strategic product assortment.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, ERP systems, and forecasting tools.
- Excellent negotiation and vendor management abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Passion for fashion trends and consumer insights.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
