Responsibility
- Develop and execute strategic material planning (MRP) to align with production schedules and Bills of Materials (BOM).
- Lead procurement activities, including supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely material availability to prevent production delays.
- Collaborate with production, logistics, and finance teams to optimize supply chain efficiency.
- Analyze market trends and supplier performance to drive cost-saving initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions and material requirements.
- Implement best practices in procurement and inventory management to enhance operational workflows.
- Resolve supply chain disruptions and mitigate risks to ensure continuous production.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, material planning, or supply chain management.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in MRP systems and inventory management tools.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills to manage supplier relationships.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and logistics operations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems.
- Certification in procurement or supply chain management is a plus.
