Responsibility
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans to expand Groheâs market share in Southeast Asia, with a focus on Indonesia and neighboring markets.
- Identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities through market research, networking, and targeted outreach.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and industry partners to drive long-term revenue growth.
- Negotiate and close high-value contracts, ensuring alignment with Groheâs business objectives and profitability goals.
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product, and customer service) to align business development strategies with company-wide initiatives.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify emerging opportunities and threats.
- Prepare and present regular reports on business development activities, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts to senior management.
- Represent Grohe at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in the building materials, construction, or FMCG industries.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth in a B2B environment.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience working with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working independently in a remote setting.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Bahasa Indonesia, Mandarin) are a strong advantage.
- Willingness to travel regionally (up to 30% of the time) for client meetings, trade shows, and industry events.
