Responsibility
- Lead global sourcing initiatives for bulk raw materials, ensuring cost-effective procurement while maintaining quality standards.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts to secure favorable terms and pricing.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities in the food ingredient supply chain.
- Collaborate with internal teams (R&D, production, logistics) to align procurement strategies with business objectives.
- Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to ensure uninterrupted supply continuity.
- Implement cost optimization strategies without compromising on quality or sustainability.
- Evaluate supplier performance and conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Stay updated on industry regulations, trade policies, and sustainability practices affecting procurement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in bulk raw material procurement, preferably in the food or FMCG industry.
- Proven track record in supplier negotiation, contract management, and cost optimization.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and procurement software.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Willingness to relocate to Bali or work in a hybrid model with frequent travel to our Bali office.
