Responsibility
- Design, develop, and deploy building automation systems (BAS) and IoT-based control solutions for commercial and industrial facilities.
- Program, configure, and commission PLCs, DDC controllers, and SCADA systems to optimize HVAC, lighting, and energy management.
- Collaborate with architects, MEP engineers, and clients to integrate automation systems into new and retrofitted buildings.
- Conduct system testing, validation, and performance tuning to ensure reliability, scalability, and compliance with industry standards (e.g., BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks).
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for existing automation systems, including remote diagnostics and on-site service.
- Develop custom software scripts and algorithms to enhance system functionality and energy efficiency.
- Train end-users and facility managers on system operation, maintenance, and best practices for automation.
- Stay ahead of industry trends in smart building technologies, AI-driven controls, and sustainable automation.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation, or a related field. Masterâs degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in building automation, HVAC controls, or industrial IoT systems.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or JavaScript for automation and control logic.
- Hands-on experience with BMS platforms (e.g., Johnson Controls Metasys, Siemens Desigo, Schneider EcoStruxure).
- Strong knowledge of communication protocols (BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks, OPC UA) and networking principles.
- Certifications in building automation (e.g., BACnet Certified, LEED AP) are highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
