Join Oriental Consultants Philippines, Inc. as a Senior Bridge Foundation Engineer and play a pivotal role in designing and overseeing the construction of safe, durable bridge foundations for high-impact infrastructure projects in collaboration with the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).

Responsibility
- Lead the geotechnical investigation, analysis, and design of bridge foundations, including deep foundations, piles, and abutments for major DPWH projects.
- Develop and review detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and technical reports in compliance with local and international standards (AASHTO, Eurocode, etc.).
- Conduct site assessments and soil testing to determine foundation feasibility and recommend optimal construction methods.
- Collaborate with structural engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure seamless integration of foundation designs with overall project requirements.
- Oversee construction supervision, ensuring adherence to design specifications, quality control, and safety protocols.
- Perform risk assessments and mitigation planning for geotechnical challenges (e.g., unstable soil, seismic activity, flood zones).
- Utilize advanced software tools (e.g., PLAXIS, GRLWEAP, AutoCAD Civil 3D) for modeling and simulation.
- Prepare cost estimates, project timelines, and resource allocations for foundation-related works.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field; licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in bridge foundation design and construction, with a focus on large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Proven expertise in geotechnical investigations, soil mechanics, and foundation engineering for bridges, highways, or similar structures.
- Proficiency in geotechnical software (PLAXIS, LPile, STAAD Foundation) and CAD tools.
- Strong knowledge of local and international design codes (AASHTO LRFD, Eurocode 7, Indonesian SNI standards).
- Experience working with government agencies (e.g., DPWH) or multinational consulting firms is highly advantageous.
- Excellent project management, communication, and team leadership skills.
- Willingness to relocate to Badung, Bali and travel to project sites as needed.
