Responsibility
- Lead and supervise a team of maintenance technicians to ensure efficient repair and upkeep of heavy equipment.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize equipment downtime.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues in heavy machinery.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all maintenance activities.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance.
- Coordinate with procurement teams to order spare parts and manage inventory levels.
- Train and mentor junior technicians to enhance their technical skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with project managers to align maintenance activities with operational timelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems in heavy machinery.
- Certification in equipment maintenance (e.g., Caterpillar, Komatsu, or similar) is a plus.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) is preferred.
- Willingness to work in remote or field locations as required.
