Responsibility
- Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and repair of semiconductor manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions, utilizing diagnostic tools and technical manuals to identify root causes.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement equipment upgrades, modifications, and process improvements.
- Monitor equipment performance metrics and generate reports to track efficiency, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace in accordance with Micronâs EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) guidelines.
- Conduct preventive maintenance (PM) tasks as scheduled, including parts replacement, lubrication, and system checks.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment, ensuring seamless integration into production lines.
- Provide technical support and training to junior technicians and operators as needed.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field. Bachelorâs degree is a plus.
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience as an Equipment Technician, preferably in semiconductor, electronics manufacturing, or a high-tech industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers), pneumatics, hydraulics, and precision measurement tools.
- Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) and ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a methodical approach to troubleshooting complex equipment issues.
- Ability to work in shift-based environments and respond to emergency calls as required.
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal) with strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Certifications in OSHA, ISO, or semiconductor-specific training are highly advantageous.
