Responsibility
- Maintain and update accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and balance sheets.
- Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual tax declarations in compliance with Indonesian regulations (e.g., PPH, VAT, and corporate tax).
- Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable/receivable, and general ledger entries to ensure accuracy.
- Generate financial reports (e.g., profit & loss statements, cash flow statements) for management and clients.
- Assist in audits by providing documentation and supporting financial data as required.
- Advise clients on tax optimization strategies and ensure adherence to deadlines to avoid penalties.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
- Stay updated on changes in Indonesian tax laws and accounting standards to ensure compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelorās degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in bookkeeping, tax accounting, or financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Indonesian tax regulations (e.g., PPH, VAT, and corporate tax) and accounting software (e.g., Accurate, Zahir, or QuickBooks).
- Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia (written and verbal).
- Ability to work independently in a remote/hybrid environment with minimal supervision.
- Certification in accounting (e.g., Brevet A/B/C, CPA) is a plus.
- Experience with ERP systems or advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) is highly desirable.
