Responsibility
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks using Xero, including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries.
- Process payroll and ensure accurate, timely payments for staff and vendors.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and stakeholders.
- Monitor cash flow, budget variances, and financial performance to support data-driven decisions.
- Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards, tax regulations, and audit requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline administrative processes and improve efficiency.
- Maintain organized digital filing systems for financial documents and contracts.
- Assist in forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning to support business growth.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (2+ years) as a Bookkeeper or Accounts Officer, with hands-on Xero expertise.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, GAAP, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and other accounting tools.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Experience with payroll processing and multi-currency transactions is a plus.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently in a remote setting.
- Bachelorās degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
