Responsibility
- Develop and maintain detailed 3D BIM models for power generation projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to integrate BIM models into the overall project workflow.
- Conduct clash detection and resolution to identify and mitigate potential design conflicts before construction.
- Generate high-quality construction drawings, schematics, and documentation from BIM models.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior BIM modelers and drafters.
- Stay updated with the latest BIM software and technologies to enhance project delivery and efficiency.
- Participate in project meetings and reviews to ensure BIM models align with project requirements and client expectations.
- Support the implementation of BIM standards and best practices across the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in BIM modeling and drafting, with a focus on power generation projects.
- Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and other relevant tools.
- Strong understanding of power plant design, construction processes, and industry standards.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with clash detection, coordination, and resolution in BIM projects.
- Certification in BIM or related fields is a plus.
