Responsibility
- Design, develop, and oversee mechanical and electrical systems for commercial, residential, and industrial projects.
- Conduct feasibility studies, site assessments, and technical evaluations to ensure project viability.
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and technical reports using CAD and BIM software.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Monitor project progress, troubleshoot technical issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Perform energy audits and recommend sustainable solutions to enhance system efficiency and reduce environmental impact.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and support staff.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in M&E engineering.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Professional certification (e.g., PE, CEng) is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in M&E engineering, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other engineering design software.
- In-depth knowledge of Singapore's building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, contractors, and team members.
- Experience with sustainable design practices and energy-efficient systems is highly desirable.
- Willingness to travel to Singapore for site visits and project meetings as required.
