Responsibility
- Develop and maintain detailed 3D BIM models for architectural, structural, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems using Revit, AutoCAD, or similar tools.
- Perform clash detection and coordination to identify and resolve conflicts between building systems before construction begins.
- Generate construction drawings, shop drawings, and as-built documentation from BIM models to support project teams.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure BIM models align with design intent and project requirements.
- Implement BIM execution plans (BEP) and standards to maintain consistency across projects.
- Conduct 4D (scheduling) and 5D (cost estimation) simulations to optimize project timelines and budgets.
- Train and mentor junior team members on BIM best practices and software tools.
- Stay updated with emerging BIM technologies and industry trends to enhance workflow efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a BIM Modeler or Coordinator in the AEC industry.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and BIM 360 (experience with ArchiCAD or Tekla is a plus).
- Strong understanding of BIM standards (AIA, ISO 19650) and local/regional building codes.
- Experience with clash detection, model coordination, and quantity takeoffs.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills to liaise with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with sustainable design principles and LEED certification is advantageous.
