Responsibility
- Assist in preparing cost estimates and budgets for engineering projects
- Support the tendering process by analyzing contractor bids and preparing comparison reports
- Conduct site measurements and verify quantities of materials used
- Help maintain accurate project cost records and financial tracking systems
- Assist in preparing monthly cost reports and cash flow forecasts
- Participate in contract administration including variation orders and claims assessment
- Collaborate with project teams to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Prepare final account settlements and project close-out documentation
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field
- Basic understanding of construction methods and materials
- Familiarity with quantity surveying software (e.g., CostX, Candy) is a plus
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail
- Good communication skills in English (both written and verbal)
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for data analysis
- Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and grow in the engineering field
