Responsibility
- Design, develop, and implement SCADA systems and PLC programming for industrial automation projects.
- Configure, calibrate, and maintain instrumentation and control systems to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in control systems, sensors, and actuators to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate IoT and Industry 4.0 technologies into existing systems.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system diagrams, manuals, and reports.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement safety protocols for control systems in compliance with industry standards.
- Monitor system performance and recommend upgrades or optimizations to improve efficiency.
- Provide training and support to operational staff on SCADA and instrumentation best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in SCADA systems, PLC programming, or industrial automation.
- Proficiency in SCADA software (e.g., Siemens WinCC, Ignition, or Schneider Electric EcoStruxure).
- Strong knowledge of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Profibus, OPC UA).
- Experience with instrumentation calibration, loop checking, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with HMI development and data acquisition systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment, with strong communication skills.
