Responsibility
- Perform comprehensive testing and inspection of electrical wiring systems to ensure compliance with safety standards and specifications
- Diagnose and troubleshoot wiring issues using specialized testing equipment and diagnostic tools
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, components, and fixtures in various settings
- Collaborate with engineers to develop and implement wiring solutions for new projects
- Document test results, create detailed reports, and maintain accurate records of all testing activities
- Ensure all work complies with local electrical codes and industry regulations
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians and other team members
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing processes and procedures
Qualifications
- Diploma or Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Electrical Technician or similar role with wiring specialization
- Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings
- Strong knowledge of electrical safety standards and regulations (IEC, NEC, or local equivalents)
- Hands-on experience with electrical testing equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, insulation testers, etc.)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in fast-paced environments
- Strong communication skills in English (both written and verbal)
