Responsibility
- Lead and mentor a team of baristas to ensure consistent, high-quality coffee preparation and exceptional customer service.
- Oversee daily outlet operations, including opening/closing procedures, inventory management, and cash handling with accuracy.
- Maintain and uphold Signature Market’s product standards, ensuring every beverage meets our exacting quality benchmarks.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer experience, including personalized recommendations and efficient service during peak hours.
- Monitor and manage stock levels, place orders for coffee beans, milk, and other supplies, and minimize waste through proper inventory control.
- Train new team members on coffee preparation techniques, equipment usage, and customer service best practices.
- Handle customer feedback and resolve any issues promptly to maintain our reputation for excellence.
- Collaborate with management to develop promotional strategies and seasonal menu offerings.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a barista, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or senior role in a specialty coffee environment.
- Proven expertise in espresso extraction, milk texturing, and latte art, with a deep understanding of coffee origins and brewing methods.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train team members in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages (Bahasa Indonesia, Mandarin, etc.) are a plus.
- Experience with POS systems, cash handling, and basic inventory management.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
- Passion for sustainability and knowledge of eco-friendly practices in coffee preparation.
- Certification in barista training (e.g., SCA, Barista Guild) is highly desirable.
