As a Senior Barista, you will play a key role in maintaining the high standards of our specialty coffee offerings, training junior staff, and ensuring smooth daily operations. Responsibility
- Lead and supervise the daily operations of the café, ensuring efficiency and excellence in service.
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages, adhering to company standards and recipes.
- Train and mentor junior baristas, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Maintain inventory levels, including coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies, and place orders as needed.
- Ensure the café environment is clean, organized, and welcoming for customers.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues with professionalism and a positive attitude.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop new menu items and seasonal specials.
- Monitor equipment performance and report any maintenance needs promptly.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Barista, with at least 1 year in a senior or leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of coffee brewing methods, espresso techniques, and latte art.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and inspire a team.
- Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering outstanding service.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Basic understanding of inventory management and cost control.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Certification in coffee-making or barista training is a plus.
