Responsibility
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Train and mentor junior baristas to ensure consistency in product quality and customer service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station, equipment, and storage areas.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies to prevent shortages.
- Engage with customers to provide personalized recommendations and enhance their experience.
- Troubleshoot and perform basic maintenance on coffee machines and grinders.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop new menu items and seasonal specials.
- Uphold health and safety regulations to ensure a hygienic work environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a barista, with at least 1 year in a senior or leadership role.
- In-depth knowledge of coffee brewing methods, equipment, and industry trends.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Certification in coffee preparation (e.g., SCA) is a plus but not required.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
