Note: This is a full-time, on-site/hybrid role based in Bali. Remote work options may be considered for exceptional candidates.
Responsibility
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Spring Framework.
- Collaborate with frontend and DevOps teams to integrate APIs and microservices seamlessly.
- Optimize database performance (Oracle DB, NoSQL) and ensure data integrity and security.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment and testing processes.
- Apply design patterns and best practices to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues in production environments.
- Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and agile development processes.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Backend Engineer or Java Developer.
- Proficiency in Java, Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security), and RESTful APIs.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle DB, NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra), and SQL optimization.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Docker, Kubernetes) and DevOps practices.
- Strong understanding of design patterns, microservices architecture, and system scalability.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in an agile environment.
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal).
