Responsibility
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services for our trading platforms using modern architectures (microservices, event-driven systems).
- Optimize application performance to ensure low-latency responses for real-time trading operations.
- Collaborate with frontend teams to integrate APIs and ensure seamless data flow between systems.
- Implement robust security measures (authentication, encryption, rate limiting) to protect sensitive financial data.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code while adhering to best practices (CI/CD, testing, monitoring).
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, including performance bottlenecks and system failures.
- Work closely with DevOps to deploy and monitor applications in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Stay updated on emerging technologies (e.g., blockchain, AI/ML) and evaluate their applicability to trading systems.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience as a Backend Developer, with at least 2 years in FinTech, trading systems, or high-frequency applications.
- Proficiency in backend languages/frameworks: Java (Spring Boot), Python (Django/Flask), or Node.js.
- Strong experience with databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB, including query optimization and schema design.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ) and event-driven architectures.
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and WebSocket protocols for real-time data streaming.
- Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack) and logging systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
