Responsibility
- Design, develop, and maintain SAP Commerce (Hybris) backend solutions, including customizations, integrations, and performance optimizations.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, UX designers, and business stakeholders to deliver end-to-end e-commerce features.
- Implement and manage RESTful APIs, microservices, and data models to ensure seamless system interoperability.
- Optimize database performance, query efficiency, and caching mechanisms for high-traffic platforms.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum system reliability.
- Stay updated with SAP Commerce best practices, emerging technologies, and industry trends to drive innovation.
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and Agile/Scrum ceremonies to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Document technical specifications, architecture decisions, and deployment processes for knowledge sharing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in backend development, with at least 2+ years specializing in SAP Commerce (Hybris).
- Proficiency in Java, Spring Framework, and Groovy for SAP Commerce customization.
- Strong expertise in SQL/NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB) and data modeling.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and version control systems (Git).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal) for global team collaboration.
