Responsibility
- Design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available AWS cloud infrastructure for enterprise clients.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect and implement cloud-native solutions using AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, EKS, etc.).
- Optimize cloud environments for performance, cost-efficiency, and reliability through monitoring, automation, and best practices.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
- Troubleshoot complex cloud-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum system resilience.
- Implement and enforce security best practices, including IAM policies, encryption, and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and innovation.
- Stay updated with the latest AWS trends, services, and industry best practices to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in AWS cloud engineering, with a strong focus on architecture and implementation.
- Proven expertise in AWS services (e.g., EC2, VPC, S3, Lambda, RDS, EKS, CloudFront, Route 53).
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
- Strong understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes (EKS).
- AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, DevOps Professional) are highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
