Responsibility
- Perform advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on a wide range of vehicles, including luxury and high-performance models.
- Lead and oversee complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic system repairs to manufacturer standards.
- Mentor and train junior technicians, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and best practices.
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and provide accurate, detailed reports for customers and management.
- Utilize cutting-edge diagnostic tools and software to identify issues and recommend solutions.
- Maintain meticulous records of all services performed, parts used, and labor hours.
- Collaborate with the service advisor team to ensure clear communication with customers regarding repair timelines and costs.
- Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies, industry trends, and manufacturer updates through continuous learning.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as an Automotive Technician, with a proven track record in high-end or performance vehicle maintenance.
- Certification from a recognized automotive institution (e.g., ASE, manufacturer-specific training) is highly preferred.
- Expertise in diagnostic tools (e.g., OBD-II scanners, oscilloscopes) and proficiency with automotive software (e.g., Mitchell 1, AllData).
- Strong knowledge of hybrid and electric vehicle systems is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken) to effectively communicate with an international clientele.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Physical ability to lift heavy components (up to 50 lbs) and work in various positions (e.g., bending, kneeling).
