Responsibility
- Perform diagnostic checks on brake systems, suspension, and chassis components using advanced tools and equipment.
- Replace and repair brake pads, rotors, calipers, brake lines, and hydraulic systems to manufacturer specifications.
- Inspect and service suspension systems, including shocks, struts, and control arms, to ensure optimal vehicle handling.
- Conduct thorough test drives to verify the functionality and safety of repaired systems.
- Maintain accurate service records and provide detailed reports to customers on performed work and recommendations.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and workshop standards to prevent accidents and ensure a secure working environment.
- Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues and propose effective solutions.
- Stay updated with the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques through continuous learning.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience as an automotive mechanic, with a focus on brake and suspension systems.
- Certification or vocational training in automotive technology (e.g., SMK Otomotif or equivalent) is a plus.
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools (e.g., scan tools, brake lathes) and workshop equipment.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle chassis components, including steering, suspension, and braking systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and service bulletins.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in high-pressure situations.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy components (up to 25 kg) and work in various positions (e.g., bending, kneeling).
- Valid Indonesian driver’s license (SIM A or C) and a clean driving record.
