Responsibility
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JMeter, or Cypress).
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to define test strategies and ensure alignment with business requirements.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla) and work with teams to resolve them.
- Develop and enhance test frameworks, libraries, and utilities to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
- Execute regression, performance, and load testing to validate system stability and scalability.
- Analyze test results, generate reports, and provide data-driven insights to stakeholders for decision-making.
- Stay updated with emerging testing technologies and methodologies to drive innovation in QA processes.
- Mentor junior testers and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives within the team.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 3 years in test automation.
- Proven expertise in automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Appium, RestAssured, or similar.
- Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or JavaScript for test script development.
- Experience in banking, fintech, or financial services is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.) and version control systems (Git).
- Proficiency in API testing (Postman, SoapUI) and database testing (SQL).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively in Agile/Scrum environments.
