Responsibility
- Design, develop, and implement PLC and HMI software solutions for semiconductor manufacturing equipment
- Create and maintain automation system architectures that improve manufacturing efficiency and reliability
- Develop and optimize control algorithms for precision semiconductor processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware engineers, process engineers, and production staff
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex automation system issues in real-time production environments
- Create comprehensive technical documentation including system specifications, user manuals, and maintenance procedures
- Conduct system testing, validation, and performance optimization to meet semiconductor industry standards
- Stay current with emerging automation technologies and recommend innovative solutions for process improvement
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in PLC/HMI programming for industrial automation systems
- Proven experience with semiconductor manufacturing equipment or similar high-tech industries
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Ladder Logic, Structured Text, or Function Block Diagram
- Experience with major PLC platforms (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, or similar)
- Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols (OPC UA, Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP)
- Familiarity with SCADA systems and data acquisition technologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
- Strong English communication skills for international collaboration
