Responsibility

  • Lead the mechanical design and development of automation systems, including robotic cells, conveyor systems, and precision machinery.
  • Create detailed 3D CAD models and technical drawings using tools like SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Fusion 360.
  • Collaborate with electrical and software engineers to ensure seamless integration of mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
  • Conduct finite element analysis (FEA) and stress simulations to validate design robustness and safety.
  • Develop modular and scalable mechanical solutions tailored to smart factory requirements.
  • Oversee prototyping, testing, and iteration of mechanical components to meet performance and reliability standards.
  • Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and manufacturing teams during production and deployment.
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends in automation, robotics, and Industry 4.0 to drive continuous innovation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in mechanical design for automation, robotics, or industrial machinery.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor) and simulation tools (ANSYS, MATLAB).
  • Strong knowledge of materials science, manufacturing processes (CNC, 3D printing, injection molding), and GD&T standards.
  • Experience with pneumatic, hydraulic, and electromechanical systems in automation environments.
  • Familiarity with PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) and version control systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in Agile/Scrum teams.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is a plus.
