Responsibility
- Design, develop, and deploy automation solutions for semiconductor manufacturing processes, including robotic systems, PLC programming, and SCADA integration.
- Collaborate with production, maintenance, and R&D teams to identify inefficiencies and propose data-driven automation improvements.
- Develop and maintain custom scripts (Python, C++, or similar) to automate repetitive tasks, data collection, and process monitoring.
- Conduct feasibility studies and ROI analyses for proposed automation projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in automated systems, minimizing downtime and maximizing operational uptime.
- Lead the implementation of Industry 4.0 technologies, such as IoT sensors, machine learning, and predictive maintenance tools.
- Document automation workflows, create user manuals, and provide training to end-users and technical staff.
- Stay abreast of emerging automation trends and technologies, recommending upgrades to maintain competitive advantage.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in automation engineering, preferably in semiconductor, electronics, or high-precision manufacturing.
- Proficiency in PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or Mitsubishi), HMI development, and industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, OPC UA).
- Strong scripting and programming skills in Python, C++, or LabVIEW for automation and data analysis.
- Experience with robotics (ABB, Fanuc, KUKA), vision systems, and motion control is a plus.
- Familiarity with SCADA systems (Ignition, WinCC, or FactoryTalk) and database management (SQL, NoSQL).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is advantageous but not required.
