Responsibility
- Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end automation systems (hardware/software) to streamline production, testing, or operational workflows.
- Lead cross-functional teams in identifying automation opportunities and implementing scalable solutions.
- Optimize existing automation frameworks using Python, PLC programming, or CI/CD pipelines to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define KPIs and ROI metrics for automation projects, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in automated systems, providing root-cause analysis and preventive measures.
- Stay ahead of industry trends in AI, machine learning, and IoT to integrate emerging technologies into automation strategies.
- Document technical specifications, user manuals, and training materials for internal and client-facing use.
- Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; Master’s preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in automation engineering, with a proven track record in industrial automation, robotics, or software automation.
- Proficiency in PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley), SCADA systems, or scripting languages (Python, Bash).
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI), test automation frameworks (Selenium, Appium), or RPA tools (UiPath, Blue Prism).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex systems for optimization opportunities.
- Excellent communication skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Industry 4.0 technologies (IIoT, digital twins, predictive maintenance) is a plus.
- Willingness to relocate to Bali or work in a hybrid/remote setup with occasional on-site requirements.
