Responsibility
- Perform engine build and strip operations in accordance with manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
- Inspect engine components for wear, damage, or defects and document findings accurately.
- Assemble and disassemble aircraft engines using specialized tools and equipment.
- Conduct functional tests and troubleshoot engine issues to ensure optimal performance.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
- Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to resolve complex technical issues.
- Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair activities.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in aircraft engine technology.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Aircraft Engine Technician or similar role.
- Certification in aircraft engine maintenance or a related field is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of engine components, systems, and maintenance procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
