Responsibility
- Develop and implement Design-for-Test (DFT) methodologies to enhance testability and fault coverage in semiconductor designs.
- Collaborate with design and verification teams to integrate DFT features such as scan chains, BIST, and boundary scan.
- Analyze test data and debug failures to improve yield and reliability.
- Optimize test patterns and strategies to reduce test time and cost.
- Work closely with manufacturing teams to ensure seamless transition from design to production.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging DFT technologies to drive innovation.
- Document DFT processes and provide training to junior engineers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in semiconductor DFT, with a strong understanding of ATPG, scan testing, and fault modeling.
- Proficiency in DFT tools such as Synopsys TetraMAX, Mentor Tessent, or Cadence Modus.
- Familiarity with Verilog, VHDL, or SystemVerilog for design and verification.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience with scripting languages (Python, Tcl) is a plus.
