Responsibility
- Design, develop, and deploy automated robotic systems for industrial applications, ensuring alignment with project specifications and industry standards.
- Lead end-to-end project management for automation initiatives, including scope definition, timeline planning, and stakeholder coordination.
- Program and configure PLCs (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, etc.), HMIs, and robotic controllers (e.g., ABB, KUKA, Fanuc) to optimize production workflows.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for automation upgrades, presenting recommendations to senior management.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in automated systems, minimizing downtime and improving operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software teams to integrate IoT and Industry 4.0 technologies into existing systems.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including schematics, user manuals, and SOPs for automation solutions.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends in robotics, AI-driven automation, and smart manufacturing to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial automation, robotics, or project management within a manufacturing or MNC environment.
- Proficient in PLC programming (Ladder Logic, Structured Text) and experience with robotic arms, AGVs, or vision systems.
- Strong knowledge of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Profibus, Modbus, Ethernet/IP) and SCADA systems.
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) or equivalent experience leading automation projects.
- Familiarity with CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and simulation tools for system design.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian) are a plus.
