Responsibility
- Lead and manage external audit engagements from planning to final reporting, ensuring adherence to International Standards on Auditing (ISA) and local regulations.
- Supervise and mentor junior audit team members, providing guidance on technical and procedural aspects of audits.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for audit-related inquiries and deliverables.
- Identify and assess financial and operational risks, proposing actionable recommendations to mitigate exposures.
- Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with IFRS and other applicable frameworks.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external regulators to address audit findings and implement corrective actions.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in external auditing.
- Contribute to business development initiatives, including proposal writing and client presentations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or CA is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in external audit, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
- In-depth knowledge of ISA, IFRS, and local GAAP, with a proven track record of leading complex audit assignments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple engagements under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (written and verbal).
- Proficiency in audit software (e.g., CaseWare, IDEA, or ACL) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships, with a client-centric approach to service delivery.
- Willingness to relocate to Bali, Indonesia and adapt to a multicultural work environment.
