Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end audit engagements, including planning, fieldwork, and reporting for clients across various industries.
- Review financial statements, internal controls, and accounting records to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP/IFRS.
- Identify audit risks, propose mitigation strategies, and present findings to senior management and clients.
- Mentor junior auditors, providing guidance on technical accounting issues and audit methodologies.
- Liaise with clients to gather information, clarify discrepancies, and build long-term trust-based relationships.
- Prepare and present audit reports, highlighting key observations and recommendations for process improvements.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes (e.g., OJK, tax laws) and assess their impact on client operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (tax, advisory) to deliver integrated solutions to clients.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA, CA, or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in external audit, preferably with a Big 4 or mid-tier accounting firm.
- Proven expertise in IFRS, PSAK, and Indonesian tax regulations.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and identify anomalies.
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal) for client interactions and report writing.
- Proficiency in audit software (e.g., CaseWare, IDEA, TeamMate) and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions).
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for client site visits (within Indonesia).
