Responsibility
- Lead and execute financial audits for a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee audit engagements from start to finish, including risk assessment, testing procedures, and reporting.
- Review financial statements, internal controls, and accounting records to identify discrepancies, risks, or areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with clients to gather necessary documentation, clarify audit findings, and provide actionable recommendations.
- Prepare clear, concise, and professional audit reports for stakeholders, highlighting key findings and compliance status.
- Mentor junior audit associates, providing guidance on best practices, technical skills, and professional development.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes, industry trends, and emerging audit technologies to enhance audit quality and efficiency.
- Ensure timely completion of audit engagements while maintaining high standards of accuracy and client satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, CA, ACCA) is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in audit, with a proven track record in financial statement audits and risk assessment.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS, GAAP) and audit methodologies, with experience in diverse industries.
- Proficiency in audit software (e.g., CaseWare, ACL, IDEA) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills, with keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and team members.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Mandarin) are a plus.
