Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive hearing assessments for patients of all ages, including audiometric testing, tympanometry, and speech audiometry.
- Diagnose and treat hearing disorders, including sensorineural, conductive, and mixed hearing loss, tinnitus, and balance disorders.
- Fit, program, and fine-tune hearing aids and assistive listening devices using the latest digital technology and evidence-based practices.
- Develop personalized rehabilitation plans, including auditory training, counseling, and follow-up care to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with ENT specialists, speech therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic patient care.
- Educate patients and families on hearing health, communication strategies, and preventive care to promote long-term well-being.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with clinical protocols, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Stay updated on industry advancements by attending workshops, conferences, and training sessions to enhance clinical expertise.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in Audiology (or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
- Valid audiology license or certification (e.g., CCC-A, FAAA, or equivalent) required; senior-level candidates preferred.
- Minimum 2+ years of clinical experience in audiology, hearing aid fitting, and diagnostic testing (senior roles may require 5+ years).
- Proficiency in audiometric equipment (e.g., audiometers, tympanometers, OAE/ABR systems) and hearing aid programming software.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds.
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality, ethical care.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia or other languages is a plus.
- Willingness to relocate to Bali, Indonesia, with the ability to adapt to a multicultural work environment.
