Responsibility
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on semiconductor manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment failures using diagnostic tools, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, quality, R&D) to enhance equipment reliability and process efficiency.
- Conduct equipment calibration, testing, and validation to meet industry standards and internal specifications.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintenance protocols for new and existing equipment.
- Monitor equipment performance metrics and generate reports to identify trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities.
- Support new equipment installation, commissioning, and ramp-up activities, including vendor coordination.
- Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians on equipment operation, safety, and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelorās degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in semiconductor equipment maintenance, manufacturing, or a similar high-tech industry (for Senior role). Fresh graduates with strong technical foundations are encouraged to apply for the Associate position.
- Hands-on experience with semiconductor process tools (e.g., wire bonders, die attach, molding, testing equipment) is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting PLCs, pneumatics, hydraulics, and servo systems.
- Strong knowledge of equipment calibration, metrology, and statistical process control (SPC).
- Familiarity with ISO, IATF, or other quality management systems in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills in English.
- Ability to work in shift-based or on-call rotations as required by production schedules.
