  • Develop and execute high-impact communications strategies for fundraising campaigns, alumni events, and donor stewardship.

  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including senior university leadership, philanthropists, and media outlets.
  • Leverage data and analytics to measure campaign effectiveness and optimize engagement strategies.

Responsibility

  • Lead the development and execution of communications strategies for NTU’s advancement initiatives, including fundraising campaigns, alumni engagement, and donor relations.
  • Oversee the creation of high-quality content (e.g., reports, videos, social media, newsletters) tailored to alumni, donors, and corporate partners.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership, advancement teams, and external stakeholders to align communications with institutional goals.
  • Manage relationships with media outlets, influencers, and partners to amplify NTU’s impact and visibility.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance using data-driven insights to refine strategies and improve engagement.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of communications professionals, fostering professional growth and innovation.
  • Represent NTU at events, conferences, and donor meetings to strengthen relationships and drive philanthropic support.
  • Ensure all communications adhere to NTU’s brand guidelines and uphold the university’s reputation for excellence.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in communications, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role (preferably in higher education, nonprofit, or corporate advancement).
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful communications strategies for fundraising, alumni engagement, or donor relations.
  • Exceptional storytelling skills, with experience creating compelling content for diverse audiences (e.g., donors, alumni, media).
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with digital marketing tools (e.g., CRM systems, email marketing platforms, social media analytics) and data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders and external partners.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia or Mandarin is a plus.
  • Experience working in a hybrid/remote environment, with strong self-motivation and time-management skills.
