Responsibility
- Lead the design, development, and validation of advanced RF measurement systems and test methodologies for next-gen electrical applications.
- Conduct high-precision RF characterization, including S-parameter measurements, noise figure analysis, and electromagnetic interference (EMI) testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate RF subsystems into larger electrical architectures, ensuring compliance with industry standards (e.g., IEEE, 3GPP, MIL-STD).
- Develop and optimize signal processing algorithms for RF data acquisition, filtering, and real-time analysis.
- Prototype and test custom RF hardware (e.g., antennas, amplifiers, mixers) using tools like Keysight VNAs, spectrum analyzers, and anechoic chambers.
- Author technical reports, whitepapers, and patents to document innovations and contribute to the companyâs IP portfolio.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership in RF measurement best practices and troubleshooting.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends in 5G/6G, mmWave, and quantum RF technologies to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Masterâs or PhD in Electrical Engineering, RF/Microwave Engineering, or a related field with 5+ years of hands-on experience in RF measurement and research.
- Proven expertise in RF test equipment (e.g., Vector Network Analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes) and lab automation (Python, MATLAB, LabVIEW).
- Deep understanding of electromagnetic theory, transmission lines, and antenna design, with experience in anechoic chamber testing.
- Strong background in signal integrity, EMC/EMI compliance testing, and high-frequency PCB design.
- Experience with RF simulation tools (e.g., Ansys HFSS, CST Microwave Studio, ADS) and CAD software (Altium, KiCad).
- Familiarity with wireless communication standards (e.g., LTE, 5G NR, Wi-Fi 6/7, Bluetooth) and regulatory certifications (FCC, CE).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex RF systems at the component and system level.
- Strong communication skills to present technical findings to stakeholders and collaborate in a global team.
