Responsibility
- Operate, maintain, and optimize Teradyne/Eagle testers and semiconductor handlers to ensure peak performance and minimal downtime.
- Develop and implement test programs, debug scripts, and calibration procedures to enhance product quality and yield.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for equipment failures and process deviations, proposing and executing corrective actions.
- Collaborate with R&D and production teams to integrate new test methodologies and improve manufacturing efficiency.
- Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians on equipment operation, safety protocols, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Monitor and analyze test data to identify trends, recommend process improvements, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Support the deployment of automation solutions to streamline testing workflows and reduce manual intervention.
- Maintain accurate documentation of equipment performance, maintenance logs, and process changes for audit and compliance purposes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus.
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in semiconductor test manufacturing, with expertise in Teradyne/Eagle testers.
- Proven experience with semiconductor handlers (e.g., ASM, Besi, or similar) and automated test equipment (ATE).
- Strong knowledge of semiconductor test processes, including binning, sorting, and final test stages.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., JMP, Excel, Python) and statistical process control (SPC) methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex equipment and process issues.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or other quality management systems.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
