As a Mechanical Engineer, you will lead the design, analysis, and implementation of mechanical systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications. Responsibility
- Develop and design mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, etc.) for construction projects, ensuring compliance with local and international standards.
- Conduct feasibility studies, site assessments, and technical evaluations to optimize mechanical solutions.
- Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and contractors to integrate mechanical designs seamlessly into project plans.
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and BOQs (Bill of Quantities) using CAD and BIM software.
- Oversee the procurement, installation, and testing of mechanical systems to ensure quality and performance.
- Perform energy efficiency analyses and recommend sustainable mechanical solutions to reduce environmental impact.
- Monitor project progress, troubleshoot technical issues, and provide on-site support as needed.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement in engineering practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical design for construction, with a portfolio of completed projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, or similar CAD/BIM software.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection systems, and building codes (SNIs, ASHRAE, etc.).
- Experience with energy modeling tools (e.g., EnergyPlus, IES VE) and sustainable design principles.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
- Fluency in English; Indonesian language skills are advantageous.
- PE (Professional Engineer) license or equivalent certification is preferred.
