Responsibility
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and equipment in compliance with local and national regulations.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance of electrical installations.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues, diagnose faults, and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to plan and execute electrical work.
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other technicians to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
- Test electrical systems and components using specialized tools (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes) to verify functionality and safety.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Document all work performed, including maintenance logs, inspection reports, and service records.
Qualifications
- Diploma or vocational certification in Electrical Engineering, Electrotechnology, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience as an Electrical Technician, preferably in industrial or commercial settings.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations (e.g., PUIL, SNI, or international standards).
- Proficient in reading technical diagrams, schematics, and wiring plans.
- Experience with electrical testing tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina and ability to work in various environments, including heights, confined spaces, or outdoor conditions.
- Valid electrical technician license or certification (preferred).
