Responsibility
- Lead the development of technical proposals and tender responses for power generation and data centre projects across Southeast Asia.
- Provide expert application engineering support to sales teams, ensuring alignment with client requirements and technical specifications.
- Collaborate with project managers, design engineers, and vendors to deliver end-to-end solutions for complex energy infrastructure projects.
- Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost-benefit analyses to optimize project outcomes.
- Prepare and present technical documentation, including system designs, calculations, and compliance reports.
- Support business development initiatives by identifying new opportunities and contributing to strategic planning.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental best practices.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical training to internal teams as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in application engineering, power generation, or data centre infrastructure projects.
- Proven expertise in technical proposal development, tendering, and project execution for large-scale energy projects.
- Strong knowledge of power systems, renewable energy technologies, and data centre power requirements.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, ETAP, or similar engineering software for system design and analysis.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working in Southeast Asia or familiarity with regional energy markets is a plus.
- Certifications such as PMP, PE, or LEED are advantageous.
